Masters in Public Administration, Fairleigh Dickinson University,
BA Health Science, Jersey City State College, Certified Health Education
Instructor, RN, Holy Name Nursing School, former OSHA Compliance
officer and a specialist in workplace health and safety and a WSO
Certified Safety Manager, Joann is listed in Who's Who of Executive
Women and Who's Who in the Safety Profession.
Joann was named Safety Professional of the Year by the New Jersey
Chapter, American Society of Safety Engineers and Outstanding
Chapter President by the American Society of Safety Engineers.
She is an adjunct Professor at Rutgers University, Environmental
Department and New Jersey University, Criminal Justice Department,
and an adjunct Professor as well as an advisory board member for
New Jersey Institute of Technology Masters in Occupational Safety
and Industrial Hygiene program. Joann is also a National Safety
Council Master Trainer.
Susan Pomponio, Administrative Assistant, Training Coordinator
Bergen Community College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Katherine
Gibbs Graduate, former safety trainer and instructor for major
defense contractor, Susan is responsible for conducting specialized
safety training programs. She is a certified National Safety Council
Fork Lift Operator Instructor Trainer and a qualified and experienced
Hazard Communications instructor. As Administrative Assistant,
Susan schedules Pryme's courses and directs all office functions.
Albert N. Caro, MS, Physical Sciences
A University of Pennsylvania graduate, Al has over thirty years
experience in secondary education in the Physical Science Department.
He also has bench chemistry experience in industry and is a published
author of several chemistry text books. He is a certified Professional
Industrial Hygienist, an AHERA Inspector, a Radiation Safety Officer
and a NJDOH/RTK Instructor. Al has a great deal of experience
in the identification, analysis and remediation of sick building
syndrome. He has developed successful procedures for the the sampling,
identification and abatement of biological infestations in buildings
so affected. Al conducts Industrial Hygiene Audits and monitoring,
safety related training and audits.
Philip J. Tesoriero, BS, Safety Specialist
A graduate of Adelphi University, Phil has over 25 years experience
in Training and Development, Human Resources and Safety. He holds
Postgraduate Certification in Personnel Administration from NYU
. Phil is GMP certified and conducted Construction Safety Orientation
for Pryme for a major pharmaceutical company and conducts safety
audits and related training for many of our clients.
Norman J. Van Houten, Ph.D., Toxicologist, HazMat and Safety
Specialist
A degree in Criminal Justice, from Jersey City State and Ph.D.
from Columbia Pacific University qualifies Norm for his position
as a professor at NJIT in the Industrial and Engineering Management
Department, Graduate Level. He has over 20 years experience in
the police, security and safety fields. A former Public Safety
Officer, he is a Certified Hazards Manager (CHM), Professional
Environmental Auditor (PEA) and a Certified Red Cross First Aid
instructor. He is responsible for developing and conducting training
programs and environmental audits and public entity audits.
Steve Moncur, Specialty Trainer
Lieutenant, Linden Fire Department, Steve is a Certified Hazardous
Materials Technician and a certified New Jersey State Police Confined
Space Rescue and HazWoperTrainer. He is the instructor, developer
and deliverer of high angle rescue training for the Linden Fire
Department. Steve is an instructor at the New Jersey State Fire
College, a Certified American Red Cross and National Safety Council
First Aid and CPR instructor - trainer.
William Armonaitis, Specialty Trainer
A Boston College graduate, Will is a NJ Certified Paramedic.
He is a Certified National Safety Council First Aid and CPR instructor-trainer
and had conducted over 300 courses for Pryme's clients, including
over 400 US Postal Service students.
Lawrence Petrillo, Safety Specialist
the former Director of the NJ State Fire College and the Occupational
Safety and Health Division of the New Jersey State Safety Council.
He has over 20 years experience in fire and workplace safety.
He is a Certified Fork Lift Operator Trainer and a National Safety
Council Master Trainer. An accomplished computer graphics and
photographic professional, he is responsible for producing customized
safety programs, conducting Safety Audits and training.
Brian J. Libby, Transportation Safety Specialist
A former member of the Connecticut State Police Department, Brian
is a certified Driver/Trainer, a Defensive Driving Instructor
and a safety training specialist. He has trained Police Officers
and Fire Personnel in State, County and Municipal Governments
in several states in tractor trailer and HazMat Emergency procedures.
He has developed and implemented training programs used by the
City of New York Fire Department and the New Jersey State Police.
He is a Certified OSHA Safety Auditor and co-authored a Commercial
Drivers' (CDL) Prep Manual. He is responsible for transportation
safety related programs.
Richard M. Lester, MS Environmental Science
Rich's experience includes several positions in industrial hygiene
and environmental program management with research and regulatory
agencies at the state, county and local level. He has been directly
involved with OSHA and environmental issues, projects, policies
and enforcement matters in Municipal and Superior Court pertaining
to air and water pollution, noise control, solid waste and recycling,
hazardous materials and emergency response, pesticides, site remediation
and toxic catastrophe prevention. He also helped design and construct
a "state-of-the-art" computer/GIS system and environmental laboratory.
He is responsible for developing and conducting Industrial Hygiene,
environmental and safety audits.
